Lara Ray, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles and a leading researcher in the clinical neuroscience of addiction. Her research integrates experimental psychopathology, behavioral genetics, pharmacology, and neuroimaging to better understand the mechanisms underlying substance use disorders. Dr. Ray is the recipient of the 2021 Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA) Seixas Award for Service, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the field.
