The Center for Addiction and Disease Risk Exacerbation (CADRE) is proud to co-sponsor the COBRE on Opioid and Overdose Summit on Stigma on August 13, 2026, in Providence, RI, with virtual attendance also available. This free, interdisciplinary event will bring together researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, harm reductionists, and community members to explore the impact of stigma on the opioid crisis and advance collaborative approaches to research and intervention. Registration is required.

A pilot study led by researchers at the Center for Addiction and Disease Risk Exacerbation highlights the value of community-based screenings in identifying previously undetected liver health concerns.
