Abby Morales, a doctoral student at Brown University, along with CADRE Research Assistants Kevin McCurdy and Jacob Talamantes, showcased their work at the 2025 Emerging Areas of Science IDeA Symposium held in Providence, RI on June 17.
Morales and Talamantes presented their collaborative qualitative study, "Goal Setting and Achievement in Adults with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and with or at risk for Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease: A Qualitative Analysis of the Pathways Intervention."
McCurdy presented a separate project titled, "Biomarkers of Neuroplasticity and Immune Function as Predictors of Behavioral Treatment Outcomes in Alcohol Use Disorder."
Both posters highlight innovative research being conducted at CADRE aimed at improving outcomes for individuals affected by alcohol use disorders. Congratulations to all for representing the team and contributing to the dialogue on advancing addiction science.
